Geology & Geotechnical Design
F&M Ingegneria studies the ground and its interaction with structures, from geological investigation to foundation design. The team ensures safety and stability even in the most complex contexts, integrating geology and engineering.
The geotechnical engineering department carries out studies on the earth’s behaviour and the environmental transformation due to human activities; this sector is specialized on the design of shallow and deep foundations, ground retaining works (both rigid and flexible), natural and artificial tunnels, geology, hydrogeology and slope stabilization. The team first objective is to support the design of a safe, stable, reliable and long-lasting structure.
