The design for the new Padua Police Headquarters covers 17,363 square metres and aims to create a building that combines openness and security. The structure is divided into two parts: a public area with a garden and a low-rise building, and a protected area with a tall building, considered a “contemporary fortress”. The architecture aims to regenerate a degraded urban area, improving public spaces and promoting social interaction.
