The project is for upgrading the current road network linking Val di Non with Val di Sole. The existing roads (mainly S.S.43) lead a considerable amount of vehicles into the heart of the town. The the new route is developed almost entirely in tunnels offering the opportunity to place the railway line Trento-Malè line on the top of the tunnel and without the use of large areas in the city center.
