Terminal Container “Montesyndial”, Port of Venice

To increase its ability to move containers, the Port of Venice has decided to build a new terminal with capacity up to 1,4 million TEUs per year, with 1,400 meters quay and 90 hectares of surface. The terminal will be built in an abandoned industrial area of Porto Marghera ( formerly area of Syndial and Montefibre). The new container terminal will increase the volume of traffic in the Port of Venice and, due to its size, will be genereta a momentum for the overal conversion of Porto Marghera.
