The project concerns the execution of a first phase of the structural works extending the existing Pier VII for a length of 100 m and a width of approximately 140 m.
The new quay is sized to accommodate Ship to Shore (STS) cranes of the Super-Post-Panamax type and an LHM 550 crane currently in use by TMT. A container storage yard on 5+1 tiers is planned, served by a Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) crane, mobile cranes, Reach Stackers and Side Loaders.
